The Wizard King

Prophecy says the fabled Wizard-King of a lost civilization will return to take the throne of Havern.

Now it seems the prophecy has come true. Fearing danger to the present King and his heir, the young and naïve Prince Raxos, the King’s brother employs a Wizard to discover the truth, using devious means to ensure he gets it. But the Wizard Shiva has reasons to mislead the King’s brother, since revealing the identity of the reborn Wizard-King would put his own life in danger.

The threat to Shiva increases with the arrival of an old adversary – the Lord Wizard Sarekat – Shiva’s unloving grandfather.

Court life in full of intrigue and gossip, and Shiva’s friendship with the King’s sons leads to unforeseen danger where prophecy, malice, and fate conspire to bring about events that can only end in death.
